St. John the Baptist, the patron saint of Turin, is portrayed in the canvas painted by Rodolfo Morgari in 1862. The stucco and frescoes are valuable work by Giovanni Andrea Casella, active in Piedmont in the first half of the seventeenth century. They represent the saints Cosmas and Damian crowned by the Trinity.
